in the Explorer what about using the cursors on the keypad for moving around as it will save more time?/...

You already can move with WASD buttons.

Is this a feature request? WASD keys do that. We can't override the behaviour of the up/down/left/right arrows on people's keyboards, as many use that to scroll up and down the pages. It would be an unwelcome thing, I suspect.

That's why we use WASD -- it's common to use those keys for stuff like this (smiley)
