I've thought about bot support recently too, and I think it should be possible. I'd like to refactor the chat room a bit, to make it easier to have bots interface with. To do it properly would probably take the better part of a day, but it's an interesting task and will pay dividends. Perhaps at some point this month 
I'll have to sort out the more urgent tasks first, or there'll be a lynchmob
