As I've mentioned, work is drawing to a close on the new raiding system. No doubt there will be confusion, and a few things that change after the upgrade is installed, but for the most part, I hope it's starting to look half decent.

Let's run through a typical scenario...

#1. You find a territory...

#2. The territory is controlled by an enemy guild, but you want it!
To get more information, you click View Details.

As you can see, the territory is defended by quite a few members of the enemy guild, but none of them are actually there. Instead, they are defending remotely. This reduces the influence they can have in a raid. The more territories the enemy guild owns, the less effective remote defense is.

If they knew what they were doing, they would have posted a few of their members to the location of the territory they were defending.

#3. You think you might stand a chance, so you look at your raiding control.

From this screen, you will be able to send out a "War Cry" which will inform other guild members of your intent to raid, and rally them to your cause. This isn't implemented yet.

#4. You launch the raid, having selected the people you want to be in the raiding party.

The raiding results are similar, but not entirely like the old ones. Instead of a scrolling page of strikes, all individual hits are animated and miss/block is now shown on the screen.

#5. You won the raid! Well done you. Or perhaps you didn't.
You look can look at the log for confirmation (it tells you in the results too).

#6. Wow, aren't you great! Your currently controlled territories are shown on your guild's profile page
.
As an added bonus, all captured territories are protected for 24 hours. In this time, they can be raided, but nobody will be able to take control of it.

Thanks, I appreciate you saying so.

I may need to simplify it a bit, but at least it's working(smiley)

I am sure Cyberkilla knows his priorities better than you can even grasp it all.

They're all connected somehow, anyway, and he's the only one who knows which development approach is the most suitable.
