Suggestion - Maybe you should take down the game events until you have more time to test them so you aren't getting players hopes up.
Seems they are all bugged at the moment. I don't think anyone would mind until you had more time to test them to make sure they are running correct.
Just my 2 cents.
The cron task failed to run again on Sunday. I've restarted it and any missed events will run today.
