Was wondering what a data cube does.......i have one that i bought but dont know what it does and if i use it can i use it again and so on.......

Also where does one get this item without having to buy it ,,,,,

i seen one of these on the map, i got an errer whenever i tried to pick it up :/

The data cube is supposed to be a reward for completing a quest on the Largos station and intended for new players.

When Cyberkilla will finish adding whatever he has in mind for the Echo 4 location, the data cube will finally show the map for Echo 4, pointing out anything interesting.

Right now, since the map isn't finished, "view"-ing the cube will only let you know that the map is offline.

yer thats good. But what about if you make a map room of some sort so when you complete some quests and get a datacube it goes in there insted of wasting precious space in your backpack

maps are items as everything else is, so they need to be carried in backpack
