I was just gonna post this small matter on the shoutbox, but I'm out of points

I've tried 'mod' ing and 'unmod' ing an item and it works fine..

I was just wondering about the stats of the mod..

I noticed that some stats provided by the mods are percentage (%)..
So does this depend on the current items stats? Or overall player stats?
Does +1% attack mean +1% to a player's overall attack or +1% to an items attack power?
It seems the latter which is good..

But what about the income? +1% income to an item which currently has no income bonuses means +0 income?

Or instead +% income should work differently with +% attack and/or agility? And that +% income should apply to the overall income to a player..

I didn't have to do it but I did it to say, that I didn't have to do it but I would anyway..

Item mods are designed to support +- effects, and % effects.
All % based effects will provide a supplement to the power of the item, based on the original effects of the item.

If you have 3 mods with 1% attack on an item with 100 attack, it will do:

100 + 1 + 1 + 1.
It is not cumulative, and the % is based on the specification of the item, rather than how it was before a particular mod(meaning it doesn't do a % of the item + existing mods - almost impossible to get it do work like that anyway(smiley)).

OK.. if that's the case..
But what about the income?

Ex. 1. My Flash Grenade on String (view me in another tab)

Given:
$4 income bonus of the item
3 (1% income bonus of mods)

Solution:
(4 x 0.01) + (4 x 0.01) + (4 x 0.01) =
(0.04) + (0.04) + (0.04) = 0.12

Answer:
+0.12 income bonus
--> rounded off = +0 income bonus? (which the item currently displays)
Or we really do receive +0.12 income bonus and it only displays +0 income?

Ex. 2. My K'tromian Mining Lasersaw (view me in another tab)

Given:
$50 income bonus of the item
3 (1% income bonus of mods)

Solution:
(50 x 0.01) + (50 x 0.01) + (50 x 0.01) =
(0.5) + (0.5) + (0.5) = 1.5

Answer:
+1.5 income bonuse
--> rounded off = +2 income bonus? (which the item currently displays)
Or we really do receive +1.5 income bonus and it only displays +2 income?

Well, correct me if I'm wrong on some point in understanding what you meant..

I did enjoy doing simple math again..
