Here are the cases in which notifications / logging events are missing, from what I've noticed. I'll update the list if I spot new problems.

* Missing notifications for new trade offers.
* Missing notification when an alliance request (that you sent) has been accepted.
* Missing notification when somebody removes you from his allies list.

UPDATES - NOTIFICATIONS:

* Missing notification when somebody buys an item in the tradeblock being auctioned, for its buyout value.
* Missing notification when the guild leader awards you with an item from the guild vault.
* Missing notification for monthly growth compet*ton points awards.

UPDATES - LOGGING (the following are not exactly notifications, but logging events not happening)

* Missing log for cancelled raid in the raid event history (? not very sure ?)
* Missing log for not having raided a guild with 0 power (that's sure; it's missing from the 'war room' as well)

remember the failed/cancelled raid notifications you mentioned earlier. I think I forgot about them.
