I have an idea about having these ridiculously strong raid bosses that require more than one guild to fight it. Maybe only allied guilds can help your guild fight it. The rewards could be a large sum of exp, credits, points, etc. This would make guild alliances more usable than before and add an interesting twist to raiding (smiley).

I had posted a similar idea, except that all players, regardless of guild can join in. More of a communal world-boss raid, rather than a guild raid.

I like this idea though! But what stops all the guilds from forming an alliance to take down a raid? There'd have to be a cap on number of guilds or something.

My thought exactly. However, with the new guild features incoming, I believe there will be a lot of incentives to attack other guilds therefore keeping them neutral or as enemies would be ideal. Any guild that wishes to ally another guild to take down these raids would need to weigh the benefits and consequences of doing so. If you try to ally everyone to take down a raid then your guild would suffer in other areas, making striking a balance a preferred solution.

Yes! This sounds like it would blend very well with the new guild features. And if super suits are to be a thing perhaps these raid mobs could have a slight chance of dropping a piece to the set. And perhaps the suits themselves could only give a temporary buff versus being a lasting thing.

What if, instead, raids drop (at random chances) a token to be able to purchase a super suit. Instead of it being a drop, however, it is a**igned to a specific person in that raid at random and therefore can only be picked up by that player.

Easy raids = very low chance of dropping a token. Difficult raids = higher chance of dropping a token (but still rare).

This encourages players to raid against harder spawns and gives every active player in that raid a fair chance of getting a token.

Hey that's not a bad idea. Would it take multiple tokens to buy a suit or just one you suppose?
