Some of you may be familiar with the concept of escape rooms, for those of you who aren't here's a brief explanation:
Escape rooms are a real-life game where a group of people are lock in a room or a series of rooms. They then have to find clues and solve puzzles in order to move on to the next room or escape altogether.
The reason I am posting this is to ask for help from you all. Here in the next month or so I'm going to be getting a large group of friends together and I am hoping to build one of these rooms as a source of entertainment for everyone. I have actually never been to one, although several of the people I am inviting have, so I am looking for help in creating it. I've done enough research that I believe I can make it work, but I was hoping to crowd-source this and see what ideas you guys can come up with.
I've gotten most of it laid out, I'm just looking for more ideas on different puzzles and ways the teams can obtain keys/codes. All ideas are welcome and if I end up using some of your ideas I'll be sure to reward you for your contribution. Thanks in advance all.

You know what, almost everyone I have mentioned this idea to has brought up those movies. Most of them fearing that they may have to hack off some limbs in order to escape. While I can't discount the possibility altogether, I'm starting to believe that people may be getting the wrong idea about this game.

I've been to about 8 different escape rooms and LOVE them.
