Oh, I know its available in all sorts of places. However, it's not a dominant technology, is it?

Nah its not but it is however used by all places who want something useless but want to look geeky (smiley)

Would there be a way to put a package together of the skins and have ppl with slower connections dl that so they at least would have to have their internet load those everytime? Im not sure if this would help or not. Its just an idea.

For that though we would near to have actual software available to download and we aren't doing that for the moment due to our guarantee  of downloads

That's an old trick, and I know that a few browsers block it by default now, including IE7.

At least, it certainly doesn't like you to reference local files in your pages.
