I have plans for a new area soon, so June/July is a safe bet. I don't want to be any more specific than that, because I have a lot of other stuff to do too (smiley)

I think we need to get the quest editor out of the door ASAP.

The whole thing is easy except for the rewards system. We never did come up with a solution for that. I suppose we could just release it without any rewards system for now, and add it later. I'd rather there was some benefit to it though.

It's an issue with getting something for nothing. I don't want people to get powerful items just for completing a really simple quest, and to be honest, I'm not even sure myself what const*tutes sufficient effort for such rewards (smiley)

I can do quests for rewards, because I can control it. I can't trust others to do that, so I'd have to police the system, if we didn't find a solution.

EXP is okay to give, because it's low risk, and we can calculate limits from the quest tasks required. A custom quest could never have a huge exp reward though, unless it was super-hard.

Not easy to come up with a solution...

EDIT: I suppose one solution is to give everyone some rather conservative rewards, based loosely upon the difficulty of the quest that we can measure (number of NPCs killed, number of tasks, etc.), and if the quest proves to be both popular and epic in scale, I can manually grant them more generous rewards?

Feedback welcome. This is the wrong place for it, but what the hell. There's nothing else going on in this sub-forum(smiley)

A quest needs rewards otherwise it is pointless in doing it. also every player should get the same reward for completing each quest u cant jus randomly give people different stuff because they have not done aswell as another person doing the quest.
