What if we made it so that the more turns you used in an attack, the more powerful (up to a point) you were. Example:

Level 100 player is attacked by a level 130 enemy. Level 100 player is too weak to attack them normally, but they could blow a ton of their turns on a revenge attack against the level 130 enemy.

This could also be potentially useful against really super strong players that people have no chance to beat. The increase would no doubt be a percentage of your actual attribute power. In a sense, you can expend more energy to complete a task that you can't complete otherwise.

Thoughts? Don't go crazy, it was just an idea. Not a hard idea to implement either, I might add. (smiley)

I personally use my debuffs on JD, along with all my buffs when I try to attack him, that's a lot of turns right there. But sometimes, I do actually beat him. He's over 40 levels above me... If that isn't good enough, then idk what else is lol.

I think it's a good idea though, I suppose.

Edit: Honestly, I think you should just implement more or buff the debuffs we have. If you fix Purify... this actually gives the defending player a chance to retaliate, by removing said debuffs.
Though, my view is only from a standpoint where the only players I can attack are over 40 levels above me.
Edit 2: Or, even allow stacking of the current debuffs, which can allow whole guilds, or friends, to debuff a player, and all attack him. It also bring in a possibility of debuffing a strong player that you are raiding against (CoG vs IW, debuffing JD)

I plan to update the skills in the near future, so they should become a bit more useful at some point soon. (smiley)

I just thought, perhaps there should be more of a correlation between the turns used, and the result of the attack. At the moment, it increases your winnings if you spend more turns. Might be interesting if it also gives you a small boost of power, etc.

Perhaps not. (smiley)

I thought it worth making a thread about though (smiley)

There is a game I tried from Yarolds, where more "turns" gives you a slightly higher attack and defense or something like that. It would make sense to increase power with amount of turns used. I'm going to guess, though I've never personally tried it, you lose more credits if you fail a 20 turn attack? So there is still a downside if you fail, which is good (smiley)

Yes, I think that's the current behaviour for losses. I would like to see a small power boost due to turn expenditure. It's just one more small factor -- one of many, hopefully, because it makes things interesting and encourages strategy and tactics.
