Hello all.

My name is Neil. I'm 19 from England and I am a willing learner. Sure, not everyone shares their personal information, but I like to be open.

I found this game, randomly, I am glad I found out because so far I am loving it. However, I am curious on some things. I levelled up to five on these things called warpigs. Got enough cash to buy myself a fishing rod. I only managed to catch one fish because after this message it's bed time. I am tired. Lol.

What does a brain fish do? That's my first question.

PLus what can I do with fishing? Make money? Improve my character? Eat the fish for benefits?

My questions are endless. However, I'm not going toignore anything I am told. You guys are more experienced than me. I'm just the new guy and I want to learn about the game. Anything you tell me is most appreciated.

Oh yeah, Skill points. I am saving them til level 10, when I am getting the embezzle skill to help with exp and credits.

Off to bed now. Please either message me or post here, if you would like to help. I don't want free stuff, or anything like that. Just a little advice. Thanks for your time in advance.

Neil.

Brain fish give 100exp when consumed or can be sold for 2-4 points each.

Fishing increases your fishing skill, and when you reach a certain skill level you can upgrade your rank and fish at better locations. However, the upgrading is still in the works.

Skill points. The best thing to do is:

Max Embezzle at 10
Train Enrage at 15, and max it at 20
Wait until level 55 and max Divine Blessing and Iron Fist, then Futility and one rank of entrench, then get Deadly Hex.

At level 35 you may want to get ambush, but it's not so useful. Itch Trigger sucks because of accuracy, and it uses the old agility stats. Poisoned blowpipe sucks. Insight and purify have extremely limited use, and honour, stealth, and etherium are all personal choices.

Buuut, the skill system is about to be revamped, so most of that won't even apply. (smiley)

[13:23] <CYBER> but since my lvl is low so Iwill not sell brain fish becoz I need a lots of brain

Hello, Neil, and welcome to FutureRP!

Dogmeat told you some stuff on brain fish and skills.

I'll tell you a few things on credits and points.

Regarding credits, the in-game currency: you will need them to buy items from the merchants or from other players via the trade block. The safe credits are banked -- meaning that if you're attacked, nobody can loot your banked credits -- while the credits "left in pocket", or "available", can be stolen when other players attack you.

You are allowed to deposit credits three times a day, each time 25% of the sum of available credits and banked credits. For instance, suppose you have 60,000 cr. in the bank and 40,000 in your pocket. You can deposit, once, (60,000+40,000)/4=25,000. Suppose you do that and you rest with 85,000 banked credits and 15,000 in pocket. If, however, you can wait until you get 115,000 credits in pocket, the next deposit can be 25% of 85,000+115,000.

So, the more credits you have banked, the more you will be able to deposit. It's a bit of economical balance you need to use when you start raising credits.

You get the 3 new deposits each day at 00:00 server time.

One advice regarding "economics" is to never withdraw all credits from the bank, because you would have to go through the difficult process all over again.

The other currency is represented by points. Unlike credits, points cannot be stolen from you. They're useful for buying items from the other players (using the trade block) and for character upgrades (Upgrades >> Use Points).

The most common way to get points is to do a certain number of attacks each day (before 00:00 server time). Look under Leaderboards >> Objectives for an idea.

We also have a few articles on the wiki -- which is a work in progress at the moment. Check Community >> Wiki.

Yes, we are lucky to have such a good community.

With regards to fishing, there will be another location opened up on Echo 4 soon - the Tar Pits.

You get to use the fishing skill to collect explosive substances from the surface of the pit.
