Would be nice to have some kind of notification when a post is made in the forums, without the need to check the forum for new posts. Something simple, like the word Community changing colour?

Forums are odd, you have to track when you've seen a thread, or if the thread's posts are too old to care about. Makes for some inefficient queries if you're doing it at very top level.
I definitely would like that though, also a proper notifications drop-down that shows you preview of the notifs. It was going to be made fancy and show you stuff like pending trades, etc.
I'll flag the thread for investigation and add to the issue tracker.
