If it's intermittent today, it's probably me pulling things up and down without rolling nodes properly

I've been getting 500's at seemingly random instances. If you want me to log the headers when it happens I can, but I don't see any clear pattern. Once on login, one on GetRooms, one when I went to buy XP with a point.
I'll keep poking it with a stick and see what happens.

Just a quick one, but you can now paste images from clipboard directly into the forum posts and it'll seamlessly upload them as attachments in the background.
It is rate limited and restricted, so don't abuse it. Should be pretty handy though, I'm sick of having to use image bucket sites or uploading to gallery.

| All these updates this past few weeks... have you even said "thank you" once? |
I'm going to abuse the hell out of this image pasting thing, I'll have to ban myself

The image pasting? Ah, I actually have no idea how that works on mobile browsers. We might need a small image attachment button to do it explicitly. I'll have a look into it
There are some other quality of life changes needed for mobile browsing as well, really.
It's alright on my phone, but my tablet is in between sizes and it displays a bit awkwardly in portrait mode.

Nothing too much to report today as I've had a busy one with other things, however I did spend a few hours with Godfather picking through some mockups for new site themes, and researching our compet*tors to make sure we aren't missing anything obvious.
So far, it looks like we have everything except the breadth of maps and items. Our actual game features are more robust and generally superior, and I'm not just saying it because I'm biased.
It does look like we have a few long-standing features to prioritise though:
Edit: Actually, thinking about the mercenary thing, it could be that you acquire them from places on the map, rallying them to your guild's cause. It's just that when they die, they die, and you have to find more suckers to fight for you.
There's definitely some interesting stuff we could do with it, like have them be actual NPCs; rather than just a page you visit to buy them, you can get different mercenaries, from different worlds, with different pros and cons, prices, etc.

It does look like we have a few long-standing features to prioritise though:
- Guild territorial control - a few compet*tors have similar parallels already, so we should do that; basically, raiding in a special way to capture areas on maps, to get buffs and access to special areas
- Skill tree - we need to rejuvenate our skill offerings, but we knew that already
- Item extended attributes - items should have extra attributes which act like pa**ive skills that stack (up to 100%). E.g., you equip flamethrower and get +30% Burn Damage Chance, or a monopoly man top hat and get +20% Credits during attacks
- Guild Mercenaries - this is in a few games for a different reason, but it made me think, imagine if you could pay a few mercenaries to help you during raids. They would appear as players attacking on your side, and perhaps last X raids or Y amount of time. It could help bridge the activity gap, but obviously we have to be careful about the constraints.
- Party Size Limited Raids - we could have Boss NPC raids which have a party requirement; imagine you could only have 3 guild members take part in the raid - it would help with lower activity at the moment, and besides, it means that a large 30-member guild is no more capable of raiding the boss than a 5-member guild - it's the quality of the individual members that counts. Clever way to make raids stay useful regardless of guild size.
Thoughts, suggestions?
