Being someone who's obsessed with character appearance, I think it would be awesome if we were able to clone items appearances onto existing items.
What I mean by this is that you can transfer the stats of an item onto another so you can keep your favorite item's appearance.
I, for one, would love to wear my Siege set, but it is a) very weak b) provides no EPH. If I was able to carry-over my better items stats onto it, I'd wear it all the time.
Is this possible or too hard to do?

This is where you would upgrade an item. Creating a new item with different stats isnt really a good idea for a few reasons. But you could achieve what your looking for by upgrading.

Upgrading items just boosts their stats a bit. I'm focusing more on the equipment appearance (being able to keep stats of an item but the image of another)
